EU projects assistant

We are looking for two projects assistants with 5 years experience, for long term missions in Geneva,

Main Tasks

1. Administrative assistance:

  • Assistance in the daily running of the EU Support Office
  • Maintenance of project websites, mailing lists and collaboration workspaces
  • Taking minutes / notes of meetings

 

2. Providing support to EU proposals and Grant Agreements:

  • Completing the administrative information on the EC Portal

 

3. Providing administrative support to EU projects coordinated by the organisation

  • Organisation of meetings and events
  • Editing project documents and reports
  • Completing and maintaining Excel databases and financial tables
  • Providing support during periodic reporting to the European Commission

 

Essential competencies:

  • Experience with project management and administration
  • Full proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Working proficiency in both French and English 
  • Team spirit
  • Ability to deal with several tasks in parallel, in autonomous manner
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly new skills and IT tools
  • Swiss nationality, valid working permit in Switzerland, or EU citizen only

 

Desirable: 

  • Experience with web-page maintenance would be an asset
  • Experience of working in an international environment and/or research organisation
  • University degree desirable
